Import your store into Shopify

After the export, you have two files: the theme “<handle>-theme.zip” and the products “<handle>-produits.csv”. Here is how to put them in your Shopify store, step by step.

1. 1. Set your store language

   In the Shopify admin, open Settings → Languages and set the default language to the generated store's language (French or English). Otherwise Shopify shows some buttons, like “Add to cart”, in the wrong language.

2. 2. Import the theme

   Open Online Store → Themes → Add theme → Upload zip file, then choose the “<handle>-theme.zip” file. The theme lands in your library without replacing your live theme.

3. 3. Import the product

   Open Products → Import, choose the “<handle>-produits.csv” file, then click Import. The product, its photos and its offers are created.

4. 4. Publish the MoovShop theme

   Go back to Online Store → Themes, find the MoovShop theme in the library and click Publish.

5. 5. Check your home page

   Open your store: the home page should show the product. Prices are shown in your Shopify store's currency.
